Tom is gedelegeerd bestuurder bij het Central Labelling Agency, de vzw die het ‘Towards Sustainability’ label beheert. Daarnaast is hij directeur Sustainable Finance bij Febelfin, de Belgische Federatie van de financiële sector. Naast duurzaam beleggen, is hij betrokken bij een breed scala van duurzame financieringskwesties, zoals EU-regelgeving, duurzame kredietverlening, ESG-rapportering door banken en ondernemingen, biodiversiteit, circulaire economie, enz. Tom studeerde filosofie en internationale politiek aan de KU Leuven.

Siem de Ruijter is verbonden als docent en onderzoeker aan UC Leuven-Limburg, waar hij beleggen doceert.  Hij is ook modulevoorzitter van het postgraduaat Financial Life Planning.  Daarvoor werkte hij onder andere als relatiebeheerder beleggen bij Bacob bank en als docent aan de Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen.  Eerder verschenen van hem een aantal boeken zoals ‘Beleggingsleer’ (uitgeverij Van In) en ‘Ethisch beleggen is voor iedereen’ (uitgeverij Lannoo Campus).  In 2021 richtte hij de Duurzaam Beleggen Academy op.

Lieve heeft een Master in Romaanse Talen (KULeuven). Zij is na haar studies aan de slag gegaan bij ING (toen nog BBL) eerst in Externe Relaties, daarna als trainee en vervolgens in verschillende functies in Correspondent Banking en Marketing (Project -, Product - en Distribution management).

Na 15 jaar zet ze de stap naar Banksys in de functie van Marketing Manager om 2 jaar later – in 2001 – te starten bij Triodos Bank waar ze sindsdien verschillende verantwoordelijkheden in Marketing en Communication opneemt. Zij vertegenwoordigt Triodos in het Febelfin Sustainable Finance committee en is lid van de Towards Sustainability Label - Advisory Commission.

Lieve is gehuwd, heeft 3 kinderen en woont in Leuven.  

After working several years as senior portfolio manager at KBC asset management

I have started in 2000 as senior portfolio manager at MeesPierson. Being more and more convinced of the added value in using mutual funds in client portfolio’s I became in 2007 Senior Fund Specialist at BNP Paribas Fortis Private Banking. Focusing  on portfolio construction I specialized myself in hedge funds and mixed allocation funds.

In 2011 I have changed my focus to sustainable funds and social responsible investments.

As head of the classic and sustainable funds I was responsible for the management and the offering of the social responsible investments (SRI) like BNP Private SRI, discretionary and advisory SRI mandates. What is today around 20 billion euro. Our investment approach is a combination of best in class (active & passive) and thematic (SDG). Next to that we focus more on impacting investing.

Today I am the head of the investment specialists and I am responsible for the offering in funds, equities and bonds. Thanks my long  experience in sustainability I focus strongly on the sustainable transformation in all asset classes and model portfolios.
