    Ellen Van Droogenbroeck is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Applied Economics (APEC) of the Faculty of Social Sciences & Solvay Business School at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Free University of Brussels), where she teaches courses on macroeconomics and statistics. She obtained her PhD in Applied Economics: Commercial Engineer in 2018 at VUB. The topic of her doctoral dissertation was the adoption of online grocery services. Her current research interests include online grocery shopping, (e-)retailing, payment instruments and financial/digital literacy.
